Office Coordinator - Denver

THE CHALLENGE

This position will be the face of the Denver office, ensuring any associates and visitors to the corporate headquarters, has best-in-class experiences. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration functions of the Denver Corporate Office and will assist with administrative duties for HR and the Compliance Department. It requires high customer service, self-directed, and attention to detail. Additionally, it requires the individual to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, professional environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the corporate office, including purchasing office/breakroom supplies, ensuring consistent inventory, and maintaining a clean office and professional appearance. Our kitchen is the heart of the office and ensuring it’s stocked helps build our Onward community.
  • Strong organization skills – someone needs to herd all the activities!
  • Oversee the front door activity, including mail/courier, deliveries, and greeting visitors.
  • Pick up mail from the community mailbox and open, scan, and deliver mail via email to the correct individual.
  • Prepare expense reports for upper management.
  • Monitor general inbox emails and direct them to relevant staff.
  • Assist HR, Legal, Compliance, and Finance with administrative tasks.
  • Oversee vendor relations for office-related services (Plants, Tap Service, Coffee Service, Ice, and Water Service).
  • Prepare and submit work orders through the Property Management System.
  • Assist with administrative data entry for compliance research, documentation, and administration for all NERC Reliability Standards (NRS).

  • Knows how to create an upbeat and positive culture that help people want to be in the office including planning lunches, and team events on in-office days.
  • Maintain the highest standards of conduct and integrity in all dealings with or on behalf of Onward Energy at all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite Applications, including SharePoint
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with individuals in all areas of the Company and outside vendors in a positive and proactive manner.

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position functions in a professional office environment. The role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptop computer, phone, and scanner/photocopier.
